Yeshua Ha'Mashiyach in Pesach

Shalom!
Welcome!  As you are reading this, our family has begun to celebrate Pesach, or Passover.  This is a wonderful time of year!  Part of Jehovah's Moedim, or appointed times, as He has laid out in His Word is celebrating the Passover Lamb.  Yeshua Ha'Mashiyach is our Passover Lamb!  How wonderful to know that He has come as a fulfillment of the first four Feasts or Moedim with the last three excitedly yet to be fulfilled!

As we gather for the Pesach Seder, we will remember what Jehovah has done for His chosen people, our people.  We will remember the Exodus and the amazing rescue of Israel from Egypt.  We will remember Yeshua and the last supper, the breaking of bread and the wine (or grape juice in our home).  We will remember what the bread stands for and what the wine represents and obey the command of Yeshua, "Do this in remembrance of Me."

This time of year we will watch The Passion of the Christ again and read from the Torah and the Brit Chadashah.  We will sing songs of Praise to honor our Creator God who is King of the Universe.  This will be a time of tears to remember where we have come from and a time of joy to praise the Lord for the good things He has done for us...rescuing us from the bondage of sin and death into His glorious light through Yeshua, His beloved son!

Thanks for stopping by Tots and Me. I am just now really starting to look into all the significance of Torah and what it is that the Lord really expects from us. I grew up Catholic, fell away from the church, started attending and became a member of a Mennonite church and still found I had questions. I now attend a more liberal Mennonite church, but through different blogs have realized we may be missing something. How to convince the husband though?
Anyway, thanks for the links. I am now following you. I enjoyed hearing the Voyager theme when I came over here. My son and I were really obsessed with Voyager for a while quite a few months ago. I still love the music. You have a great playlist!
Blessings.
