As my mother and grandmother loved music, it was only natural that we gravitated toward the musicals and of course comedies. My family loved to laugh! There are so many great lines that I can remember us all laughing uncontrollably over. These were great and wonderful memories and I would love to relive them with you!
This week is for the queen of the silver screen! Doris Day...she was as amazing in real life as she was on screen! Truly an inspirational icon. She is one of our most favorites (in our family). I cannot pick just one movie that I loved her in so I will show clips from a few of our favorites. On my wishlist is the Doris Day Collection Volume One and Volume Two. She was a hard worker and true talent, something you just do not get from the modern movies today. Enjoy!
