Beauty

Marvelous Monday!

Christians have a million different assaults coming at them in every direction everyday.  We are bound by Biblical Principles not to engage in worldly activity as our conduct should reflect the Kingdom of Heaven rather than the Kingdom of Darkness.  One example is with our eyes.  Yeshua put it this way:

"You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery.
But I say to you that everyone who so much as looks at a woman with evil desire for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
    Matthew 5:27-28

So, in a world filled with immodest images on magazine covers in the grocery story, billboards on the way home, and indecent conversation heard through the open window from the neighbors...how does a Christian protect themselves?  Before we get into that conversation, listen to Dr. Ravi Zacharias as he speaks about the boundaries of beauty.
***You may want to wait to listen to this when your children are in another room.

What do you think of what has been said?  Do you agree that there is a (physical) price to pay for "hard living" as my Grandmother puts it?  What are your thoughts on this, how do you as a Christian protect yourself and put a guard on what your mind takes in?

Wow! Exactly! We (our family) is very picky about what we place before our eyes, ears and such for this very reason...great video!
